Ham Radio
Enthusiasm for Ham radio is one of the foundations that led to the formation of Hilberling GmbH.
The know-how gained through years of experience in the development and series production of industrial and maritime high-frequency products flows directly into very special products for Ham radio.
Cutting-edge technology developed and manufactured in Germany!

2 Independent Receivers
7 x 1 GHz DDS oscillators are used for two equivalent receivers and a transmitter. This offers the highest spectral purity for receiving and transmitting with the PT‑8000A.
Extreme Frequency Stability
A low-noise SAW-VCXO at 640 MHz is disciplined by a 10 MHz quartz oven. The use of 1 GHz DDS oscillators enables the lowest noise figures, which can otherwise only be achieved with non-variable crystal oscillators.
Excellent Signal-to-Noise Ratio and very good RX / TX Intermodulation Behavior
A signal-to-noise ratio of -160 dBc / Hz at a 10 kHz distance at the RX frequency of 14.2 MHz is achieved. The frequency stability through the quartz oven is 5 x 10-9.
VHF Band Pass Filter
An automatically tuned preselector ensures preselection in the frequency range from 1.8 MHz to 30 MHz.
Power Output Amplifier
The 200 W transmitter output stage (PT8‑PA200) with 50 V UHF FETs used in the PT-8000A, which operates continuously from 1.8 MHz to 148 MHz is new in Ham radio.
Diplexer / Harmonic Filter
In the PT‑8000A, 7 diplexers / harmonic filters are used in the TX output for the first time in Ham radio technology. They prevent the harmonics from being reflected on filters and antennas.
In addition to anthracite gray (RAL 7016), the PT-8000A is available in 4 other front panel colors:
HPA-8000B - 1KW out Linear Amplifier, 1.8 ... 70 MHz
HPA-8000B-54 - 1KW out Linear Amplifier, 1.8 ... 54 MHz
